Can I check my coat/backpack/umbrella, etc.?
The Rockwell does not have a formal coat check and we do ask that backpacks, umbrellas and other bulky items not be taken through the galleries to protect the artworks. If possible, please leave any additional belongings in your vehicle; if on foot, limited storage is available at the admission desk.
Will the Museum hold any events this summer?
Yes, the Museum is in the planning stages of reinvigorating our popular event series. Browse our events listing for fun and educational experiences as they arise.
I’m not able to visit the Museum in person. Can I see your collection online?
Yes, many objects in The Rockwell’s collection are available to browse via our eMuseum.
Can I use the restroom?
The restroom is available only to paying visitors of the Museum. A public restroom is also available at the Corning Information Center in Centerway Square (just 1 block away from the Museum).
Where can I park?
Free Parking is located directly behind the Museum. Additional parking is available in neighboring municipal lots; City of Corning parking fees apply, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
You can also visit us via a free shuttle bus, which provides service to The Corning Museum of Glass and Welcome Center parking lot, to the front door of The Rockwell Museum.
Is the Museum or Art Lab available for private facility rentals?
Private use of the Museum and Art Lab will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Janelle Steiner at steinerj@rockwellmuseum.org with your inquiry.
