THE SCARF

This Wooly Work of Art  was created by community knitters and coordinated by Jean Gray and all of our friends at Wooly Minded (91 E. Market Street, Corning). Contributing fiber artists made a knitted square to be a part of this very large, very eclectic scarf.  Thank you to everyone who contributed to this fabulous project!

THE  CONTEST

Submit your guess for # OF YARDS OF YARN used in this community scarf by December 31, 2014 in The Museum Store. Winners will be contacted via e-mail by January 5, 2015. Submissions must be made in personThe Museum Store is open daily, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. with some extended shopping hours during the month of December. 

 

FIRST PRIZE 

  • $50.00 Gift Card to The Museum Store
  • $50.00 VISA Gift Card
  • 1 Year Membership to The Rockwell ($100 Value) 

SECOND PRIZE

  • $25.00 Gift Card to The Museum Store
  • 1 Year Individual Membership to The Rockwell

  • 1 Year Individual Membership to The Rockwell Museum

THE “FINE PRINT”

Employees of The Rockwell Museum and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Prizes must be collected within 30 days of contest completion. Prizes not redeemable for cash. Allowed one guess per customer per day. By submitting a guess, participants agree to have their name used for marketing purposes by The Rockwell Museum. Winners will be contacted via e-mail by January 5, 2015. Submissions must be made in person.
