Social Media Challenge: Film to Frame

This year, the Rockwell Teen Council had the opportunity to interpret art, connect with peers in a positive and inspiring environment, and plan an event for area teens. Teen Night was originally scheduled to take place on Friday, May 8th, and include interactive activities, allowing our friends to engage with art. However, due to COVID-19, this year’s event was canceled.

As a glimpse into the various activities that were to take place at Teen Night, here’s one activity we created to interact with the museum’s collection. Pair a famous movie quote of your choice with artwork from the Museum’s collection. The “Film to Frame” submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. on August 31 – Members from the Teen Council will be selecting three of their favorite entries, and those selected will be given a shoutout on the Rockwell’s Instagram page in September 2020: @rockwellmuseum

Check out these samples by the Rockwell Teen Council! Submit your own by using this form and by referring to The Rockwell’s eMuseum. All ages are invited to submit!

Thanks for supporting the Rockwell Teen Council, we’re all about engaging with the artwork in new ways.

Good luck!
