1. Explore The Rockwell collection of art about America, including some of the nation’s most celebrated American artists like Albert Bierstadt, Thomas Moran and more.

2. Indulge in the history of the building for which The Rockwell is housed – Old City Hall, built in 1893. Check out the original jail cell door on display on the first floor.

3. Stop by to see A Mix Up by Charles M. Russell. This painting was on view in the State Department in Washington DC until it was returned The Rockwell Museum opening in 1976.

4. Admire The Bronco Buster, by Frederic Remington, is the one of the most recognized bronze statues in the world. An original casting is on display in the Oval Office at the Whitehouse and The Rockwell.

5. Make art in The Family Exploration Studio. Children love our activities and we help parents become gallery experts to guide their families through the story of America.

6. Made in the USA products are featured in The Museum Store. Proceeds generated from sales support the more than 6,000 students who enter the doors each year for a special Museum experience.

The Rockwell Museum collection tells the story of the American experience through a display of stunning art about America. The diverse collection includes a mix of contemporary Native American art with traditional bronze sculptures, landscape paintings and other works that embody America. Housed in the beautifully restored 19th century Old City Hall building, The Rockwell is active in the local community and holds special events and educational programming with area public schools.
