The Rockwell Museum believes in advancing its values of excellence, innovation, and creativity by fully involving our people – we are dedicated to fostering an environment of mutual respect, open communication, and teamwork. We believe that encouraging individuals to grow personally and professionally is just as important as the art on our walls. That’s why we’re proud to once again open our doors to our museum colleagues for an evening of social and professional networking.
Join us for an evening of comradery and celebration for the work we all accomplish together. Guests will have the opportunity to meet The Rockwell’s new Executive Director, Brian Lee Whisenhunt, and hear from MANY Executive Director, Erika Sanger.
This year’s reception takes place in line with a regional MANY Meet-Up, and our friends at Corning Museum of Glass are holding a “Fun with Glass Workshop” for MANY members.
During your visit, you’ll have a chance to view The Harmon and Harriet Kelley Collection of African-American Art: Works on Paper exhibition opening in our featured exhibition gallery on September 15. The Rockwell is also excited to share some recent acquisitions of prints, bronzes and paintings that we’ve accessioned into the collection this year. From Thomas Hart Benton to Louis Lozowick and John Sloan, we are pleased to display these new American art additions to the growing Rockwell collection.
