12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Monday, April 30, 2018 | noon – 1 p.m.
This is a presentation of Bare Bones Café, a community-sourced museum experience included with regular Rockwell admission. Refreshments will be available. Full schedule
Picture this – it’s the 17th century. You’re walking home on a cobblestone road. The sun is just beginning to set, and a cool breeze swirls through the air. In the distance, you hear someone playing a flute.
Bare Bones Café is transformed into a time capsule to showcase solo flute works from Bach to Jethro Tull! See how art, technology and historical events shaped the evolution of the flute, the instrument that’s closest to the human voice.
