Artist SunHwa Choi Bush will demonstrate one-stroke drawings, using a long brush and traditional Korean paper. Music from a Haegeum and a Lyre, a traditional Korean instrument, will set the tone for this hands-on demonstration. Throughout the presentation, SunHwa will introduce Korean culture and traditions.
SunHwa Choi Bush painted for many years on Korean traditional paper, primarily in black ink wash, mixed media and powder painting. Since relocating to Corning, she has added oil, water color and acrylic painting to her repertoire.
