Join instructor Linda Huey for the second clay class of the year. In this two-part clay class, you will learn the basics of creating hand-built, functional objects, including a bowl, a cup, and a spoon. Explore how refined and thoughtful manipulation of clay can allow for greater functionality and stability. Add decorative elements to make your creations extra special for serving and entertaining. All experience levels are welcome and encouraged to attend!
Session 1 will focus on the creation of your objects, followed by glazing and decorating at Session 2. Program fees cover both sessions, and all material costs.

About the Instructor
Linda Huey is a full time studio artist who makes pottery and sculpture using nature forms as a source of inspiration. Huey currently lives and works in New York and Boston. Her work has been published in numerous books and national magazines and is included in public and private collections. Linda received a Master’s Degree in Ceramic Art from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University and is represented in Massachusetts by Clark Gallery.
