    First Friday Art Club with Southeast Steuben County Library & Rockwell Museum

    April 7 & May 5, 2017 | 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.
    Location: Southeast Steuben County Library
    (300 Nasser Civic Center Plaza, Corning, NY, 14830)

    For ages 10+. Registration required. Attendance is required for both sessions.  

    The Rockwell believes in partnering with regional organizations to bring the best possible educational, art experiences to people of all ages.

    For this two-part workshop, youth will use The Rockwell’s iconic landscape paintings as inspiration for an “Earthscape” creation. Artwork will be kiln fired and exhibited at the Southeast Steuben County Library to complement the Summer Reading Program theme, “Build a Better World.”

    Session I (April 7): Learn about sustainable housing and build a model home using recycled materials. 
    Session II (May 5): Sculpt an imaginative clay landscape for the model home you will have constructed during first session.
