About Julie Conway
Julie Conway is the owner of ILLUMINATA ART GLASS DESIGN LLC, a studio of custom glassworks. Her first molten blob of glass was formed in 1997, from there, she never looked back.
Her training with international glass masters influenced her use of timeless skills incorporated with modern designs for her art glass lighting and jewelry collection. Collaborating with architects, designers, collectors and clients to create extraordinary custom, lighted glassworks is her specialty. Her passion for spontaneous and elegant design comes from the nature of molten glass and its properties to refract and reflect light – the result is orchestrated installations of light and glass that can transform interior space.
Julie’s studio practice is based in Seattle WA, where she collaborates with highly talented teams of glassmakers and fabricators to help her execute her art glass lighting commissions.
