The Rockwell believes in advancing the desire of our founding collectors, Bob and Hertha Rockwell, to make the art collection accessible to as many people as possible. That’s why we’re pleased to once again partner with Corning Museum of Glass to offer the Meet Me at the Museum program, a collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association. The programs are held on the second Monday of each month from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at each museum, alternating monthly.
This month, guests attending the Meet Me at the Museum program will be hosted to an afternoon of exploring the sights, textures and scents of selected pieces from the Museum’s Collection. Guest will whiff the rich aromas of a majestic landscape and discover the textures of an action-packed, larger-than-life painting. The afternoon will conclude with light refreshments.
