This program is offered free of charge for individuals with dementia and their caretakers. Registration for the Meet Me at the Museum programs is strongly encouraged. Please contact the Alzheimer’s Association to register by calling 800.272.3900.
The Rockwell believes in advancing the desire of our founding collectors, Bob and Hertha Rockwell, to make the art collection accessible to as many people as possible. That’s why we’re pleased to once again partner with Corning Museum of Glass to offer the Meet Me at the Museum program, a collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Association. The programs are held on the second Monday of each month from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at each museum, alternating monthly.
This month, guests are invited to delve into a larger-than-life painting from The Rockwell Museum’s Collection and be transported into the past. The artwork will be brought to life as participants explore through touch and engage in lively conversation. The afternoon will conclude with light refreshments.
