Join us for a revamped, one-night-only Rockwell Roadhouse. This building-wide event will feature two of the region’s most impressive acts! This high-energy live music series is complete with cash bar, tasty hors d’oeuvres and access to the collection after hours.
Bronwen Exter fronts an all-original band with multilayered instruments and harmonies. Exter’s music is often described as dreamy, but there is another, different element of dreaminess to these songs–turbulent, animal, disorienting. Her albums include, Snakeskin, There (2018), Junkyard (2012), and Elevator Ride (2006). The New Yorker noted Exter’s voice “like a warm mist capable of obscuring all of life’s problems.”
Rose & The Bros are a powerhouse ensemble specializing in irresistible Zydeco and Cajun dance grooves resonating with sweet vocal harmonies and crooning country roots. With a shared dream to simply have a blast while making people dance without stopping, Rosie Newton, Paul Martin, and Steve Selin set out to collect tunes and the rare ingredients of a no holds barred Zydeco and Cajun dance party. They’re joined by Greg Evans, Angelo Peters and Sally Freund to make up Rose & The Bros.
