    Fill your day off with art, culture and family memories! Drop in with the family any time of day to explore the galleries with an Art Hunt and get creative in our Family Exploration Studio.

    10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | Make a Romare Bearden-Style Collage

    Free and open to the public.
    No registration required.

    Romare Bearden was an extraordinarily talented African-American artist who worked in many mediums, and is widely known for his mixed media collage work. Bearden’s early work focused on unity and cooperation within the African-American community, and believed it was the responsibility of the African-American artist to fight in the struggle for civil rights. Drop in any time between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to make your very own colorful collage to tell your very own story!
