    Location: KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab (36 E. Market Street, Corning, NY)

    Create a woven paper composition as you explore patterns and learn weaving techniques inspired by Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) baskets on view at The Rockwell. Participants will learn weaving terms and techniques to create their own woven design by curling and bending paper strips.

    We acknowledge that we are still living through the COVID-19 pandemic. If you do not feel comfortable visiting the Art Lab in person there will be to-go project kits available for pick-up, free of charge. Health & Safety updates >>

    Activities at The Rockwell Museum:

    Drop in any time to participate in a series of self-guided activities for families at The Rockwell. Pick up a set of Spy, Think, Ponder art cards, explore the galleries with an Art Hunt, and play gallery games inspired by the art on view. Regular Museum admission includes these special drop-in activities. Family Passes are accepted.
