In collaboration with art teacher Maria Goldwyn and the Corning-Painted Post Middle School, The Rockwell Museum proudly presents Your Place, Your Voice. This student exhibition features digital collages created by eighth grade C-PP students. This project is part of a new outreach initiative that brings The Rockwell collection to classrooms virtually, merging art-making with digital technology.
The Your Place, Your Voice outreach project dives into the themes of artwork from The Rockwell’s collection, encouraging students to explore aspects about their personal identity, their family and cultural heritage, and consider how a portrait can reveal a story.
Join us as we celebrate Your Place, Your Voice and recognize the talented students for their imaginative creations. The exhibition will be on view November 21, 2018 – January 21, 2019.
