The Rockwell celebrates the 125th Anniversary of the building we call home – Corning’s Old City Hall. This iconic building was completed in 1893 and represents the American Romanesque Revival style.
Over the past 125 years, this civic building has evolved along with the changing needs of the city of Corning, housing the City Clerk, City Court, Police Department, jail cells, the Mayor’s office, and even Corning’s Fire Station. Trace the history of this community through a selection of vintage photographs and explore the architectural structure with a self-guided Architecture Tour.
