Membership provides great benefits and privileges – free admission, special access to exhibitions and opening receptions – but most importantly, Members’ fees support the study and care of our collections and the good work we do in the community.

Smithsonian Level Membership

Depending on your level of commitment, your membership comes with the following: 

Individual Membership ($70)

• Unlimited, free admission for the individual member for one year
• Free or reduced admission to Museum programs such as exhibition openings, music on the terrace and lectures, for the museum member
• E-alerts and advance notification of programs and events
• 10% Discount in The Museum Store

Dual Membership ($100)

• Unlimited, free admission for two individuals for one year
• Free or reduced admission to Museum programs such as exhibition openings, music on the terrace and lectures, for two people
• Free general admission for two adult guests per visit throughout the membership year
• E-alerts and advance notification of programs and events
• 10% Discount in The Museum Store
• Free admission to other museums through the Museums West program, NARM and ROAM (see below).

Donor Member ($250)

• All Dual level benefits
• Free general admission for four adult guests per visit throughout the membership year
• One soft-cover copy of Museum catalog
• Rosewood writing pen

Sustainer Member ($500)

• All Donor benefits
• Invitation to one Silver Dollar Society event
• Recognition on lobby donor wall

Smithsonian Affiliate Membership Program Add-On ($20) 

Add $20 to any Rockwell membership level to become a Smithsonian Affiliate Member. Smithsonian level members enjoy Rockwell Museum membership, PLUS an annual Smithsonian membership. Benefits include:

• Smithsonian Magazine (one year subscription)
• A personalized Smithsonian Affiliate membership card
• Free admission to the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York, NY
• 10% discounts on café dining at Smithsonian Museum’s in DC
• 10% discount on all Smithsonian Folkways Recordings

Gift the Gift of Membership

Membership to The Rockwell Museum makes a meaningful gift that can be enjoyed all year long and is the perfect gift for a family, a couple who just moved to the region, or your grown son or daughter who love to try new things. Gift memberships come specially packaged and include a Rockwell ornament.  Gift memberships can be purchased at the Admission Desk of The Rockwell Museum or in The Museum Store during regular museum hours, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Questions? Reciprocal Membership Programs

One of the benefits that Members at the Dual level and above enjoy is participation in three reciprocal programs that allow free admission to art museums across the country–Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM), North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) program, and Museums West consortium.  All provide you with an opportunity to visit close to 700 museums across the North American free-of-charge with your Rockwell membership! 

Double Your Donation with a Corporate Matching Gift

If the company you work for participates in the Matching Gift Program your donation to The Rockwell Museum may be doubled or even tripled. Please check with your Human Resource Office for a Matching Gift application.
