    45-min time slots start on the hour, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
    Pre-registration encouraged by 11:59 p.m. on April 25. Walk-ins welcome. Free and open to the public.

    Inspired by the Haudenosaunee collection, learn the basket weave technique to create a paper mat with an interesting pattern. Engage edible biology to develop a personalized pattern on your mat. Print the woven paper with potatoes to give your weaving a unique design. Turn the science of tubers into masterful art.

    • Workshops start promptly on the hour. Please allow for 10 minutes for parking and check-in.
    • Walk-ins are welcome! Pre-registration is encouraged. Limited seating is reserved for walk-ins on a first come, first serve basis.
    • All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are required to register with their children for this workshop.

    About Erica Unterman

    Erica UntermanErica Unterman is an artist residing in Corning, NY. Her fine arts education began at Keystone College and continued at Tyler School of Art. Living in the Finger Lakes region, luscious landscapes provide daily inspiration for creativity in her studio and her community. Erica organizes the annual Recycled Runway for The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and teaches art regionally for organizations such as the Southeast Steuben County Library, The Corning Museum of Glass, and The Rockwell Museum. A true friend of arts and culture, Erica strives to make a difference in her world.
