    Masks, Music, Movement & Monologues

Free and open to family and friends of HSLC students
    Refreshments will be served

Please join us for the culminating event of this special multi-media art program – Masks, Music, Movement & Monologues. The program gives students an opportunity for self-reflection and community-building with fellow students, teachers, professional artists and musicians.

Each year, students use The Rockwell’s art collection to serve as inspiration to create papier-maché masks and write nature-themed, self-reflective monologues. For their final presentation, students will read their monologues while their classmates interpret the masks through movement, accompanied
by music. The presentation will also feature the High School Learning Center Band.

This project is made possible in part by a grant from The Triangle Fund, Great Circle Foundation, Inc. and William G. McGowan Charitable Fund.
