Instructor Colleen Hogan of Rafael Grigorian School of Ballet introduces ballet for young students with her Pre-Ballet class, ages 4 to 6. The class will give a demonstration on warming up muscles and body in preparation for dance, and show various dance movements that are basic yet necessary for all levels of dance. Colleen Hogan pairs the demonstration with a review of ballet language and how a dancer connects their body and mind with the music to perform ballet movements. The event will conclude with a choreographed dance by the class.
