Location: The Rockwell Museum + Art Lab
Children and their caregivers are welcome for a fun afternoon to engage with art inspired by the theme of heroes. Think about heroes in your everyday life. Who’s a hero in your family? What makes a hero super? Local comic, sketch and cosplay artists will be presenting interactive experiences in the 3rd floor galleries. In addition, families can make their own cosplay accessories at the Art Lab, try a hero-themed Art Hunt and learn more about highlighted works of art in The Rockwell’s collection with a set of Spy, Think, Ponder art cards. This new Family Day series encourages exploration and play in a creative, family-friendly environment.
