The Rockwell hits the road! Join us for this insider tour celebrating the centennial of the National Park Service. This exclusive, 4-night/4-day opportunity will allow participants to visit two of the most iconic national parks in person — Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks– while gaining access to world-renowned museums and private collections. Full Itinerary by Day
Day 1: Wednesday, September 28
▶ Arrival in Cody, Wyoming*
▶ Welcome dinner at John Bunker Sands Photography Gallery and private tour at the Whitney Western Art Museum, Buffalo Bill Center of the West. Dinner/tour start-time will depend on arrival of guests.
Day 2: Thursday, September 29
▶ Breakfast at Big Horn Gallery in Cody, WY
▶ Raptor education program at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West – get up and personal with birds of prey
▶ Tour through Yellowstone National Park with a world-class guide
▶ Short visit to the historic Lake Hotel, the oldest hotel in Yellowstone
▶ Drive through Hayden Valley, looking out for wildlife, including bison
▶ Short walk to Artist Point, the most famous viewpoint of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, offering views of Lower Falls, a 300 ft. drop
▶ Dinner and accommodations at the historic Old Faithful Inn
Day 3: Friday, September 30
▶ Breakfast at Old Faithful Inn
▶ Optional early morning walk around the Upper Geyser Basin, where more than 20 percent of the world’s geysers are located
▶ Short walk along the boardwalk at West Thumb Geyser Basin
▶ Visit Colter Bay – choose to walk the Lake Shore Trail where Mt. Moran stands out as an impressive sight OR visit Colter Bay Indian Arts Museum
▶ Lunch in the Mural Room at Jackson Lake Lodge featuring 60 foot windows with a panoramic view of the majestic Teton Range
