Location: KIDS ROCKWELL Art Lab (36 E. Market Street, Corning, NY)
Create your own mosaic inspired by beads, created from beans. Find ideas in The Rockwell’s collection of beaded artworks including clothing, shoes, bags, belts and boxes. Many artists use beads to create intricate designs such as flowers, birds, leaves, plants and animals. Find inspiration from the beaded artwork found in the museum’s collection, then create your own textured mosaic from a variety of dried beans.
We acknowledge that we are still living through the COVID-19 pandemic. If you do not feel comfortable visiting the Art Lab in person there will be to-go project kits available for pick-up, free of charge.
Please note:
- Masks are required for all attendees of family programs, ages 2 and up, regardless of vaccination status.
