American Women Artists Now Accepting Applications for 2018 Juried Exhibition

 

The Rockwell is pleased to be collaborating with American Women Artists for the 25 for 25 campaign, an initiative to have twenty-five museum shows in 25 years dedicated to the inspiration, celebration, and encouragement of women in the visual fine arts.

This highly competitive and tightly-curated exhibit will showcase a diverse group of representational artworks by artists who draw, paint or sculpt in a contemporary or traditional style that fit the theme of “Perspectives of the American Experience.”

AWA’s National Juried Exhibition at The Rockwell Museum is open to AWA Associate Members and Associate with Distinction Members. In addition to monetary and merchandise awards, final works selected will appear on AWA’s website gallery and promoted through social media channels and e-newsletters of both institutions. AWA is dedicated to providing professional opportunities for women in the visual arts.

Applications Open: June 27 – September 3, 2017

Notification Date: October 3, 2017

Exhibit on View: January 19 – March 18, 2018

Artists’ Reception: April 20, 2018
